An exposure visit was organized to the Government Handicraft Training cum Production Centre, Minicoy on 05 November 2025 in connection with Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas 2025. Various handicraft items made from coconut shell, coconut leaves, coir pith, wool, and other locally available materials were displayed during the visit. Mrs. SithunnisaBeegum P.K., Training Assistant, explained the activities of the centre and highlighted the processes involved in making the handicraft products. The visit provided the rural youth with valuable exposure to traditional art and craft items, encouraging interest in local craftsmanship and skill development.
