ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra, South Andamanconducted athreedays skill development training programme on ‘‘Harvesting and Processing of Cinnamon’’from 17/12/2025 to 19/12/2025 atICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra, South Andaman. The chief guest Dr. Y Ramakrishna (Principal Scientist and Head, KVK)highlighted the importance of cinnamon in island conditions.Training coordinator Ms. Sushma (Subject Matter Specialist, Horticulture) and supporting staff of KVK demonstrated scientific method of harvesting, peeling and processing in cinnamon.Total 19 female participants (including farmwomen and youth) attended the training programme that was guided by Dr. Jai Sunder, Director (A), ICAR-CIARI, Sri Vijaya Puram.
