Working Principle : The GCMS-QP2010 Ultra combines Gas Chromatography (GC) and Mass Spectrometry (MS) for the separation, identification, and quantification of volatile and semi-volatile compounds. In the GC system, sample components are separated based on their volatility and interaction with the chromatographic column. The separated compounds are then ionized in the mass spectrometer, and their mass-to-charge (m/z) ratios are analysed to generate characteristic mass spectra, enabling accurate compound identification and quantification.
